Legal requirements place the focus on people and the related medicinal product safety and efficacy. Economic principles require that all parties within a company make rational decisions based on the relevant purpose; at the same time, increasing numbers of standards and obligations dictate how we interact with the environment.

MEDARIS believes that good judgement is crucial. Unfortunately, instinct alone is not enough, as it can easily lead us down the wrong route. We advocate balance: balance between the head and instinct, which enables us to achieve certainty through knowledge.

We can only ascend to the next summit if we set down our baggage, follow the right path, and get rid of any unnecessary friction. However simple this sounds, it demands a great deal of creativity – not only your own creativity, but the creativity of all stakeholders. The combination of channelled expertise and personal responsibility is a great driver of creativity and a key factor in achieving effective results.

As a first step, we need to ask the right key questions, familiarise ourselves with and recognise impact levels, and define requirements. This is the only way to reliably rise to complex changes, involving all participating stakeholders.
